Terms of Service
Wefeel.space Ltd
Last updated: 9 July 2026 Version: 1.0
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of wefeel.space (the "Platform"), operated by Wefeel.space Ltd ("Wefeel", "we", "us"), a company registered in Ireland.
By using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Separate terms apply to therapists who list their services on the Platform ("Therapist Terms"). Where these Terms and the Therapist Terms conflict in respect of a therapist's use of the Platform, the Therapist Terms prevail.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms.
2. What Wefeel is — and what it is not
Wefeel is an intermediary. We operate a directory and booking platform that makes Polish-speaking mental health professionals visible to people seeking support, and that passes enquiries and bookings to them.
We do not provide healthcare, therapy, counselling, psychological or medical services. We do not employ therapists. We do not supervise, direct or control the clinical work of any therapist listed on the Platform. We are not a party to the therapeutic relationship between you and a therapist.
Any therapy you receive is provided by an independent professional, acting on their own account and under their own professional responsibility, insurance and regulatory obligations.
2.1 Not a crisis service
The Platform is not an emergency or crisis service. We do not monitor messages, bookings or forms in real time.
If you are in immediate danger, or you are thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number now. In Ireland: 112 or 999. In Poland: 112. Country-specific crisis lines are listed on our location pages.
Do not use the Platform, contact forms or booking system to seek urgent help.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform.
The Platform is intended for adults seeking support for themselves. You may not book a session on behalf of another person without their knowledge and consent.
4. Accounts
To book a session you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.
We may suspend or close an account which is used in breach of these Terms, or where we reasonably believe it is being used unlawfully or to harm another person.
5. Finding a therapist
The Platform allows you to browse therapist profiles, filter them, and use a matching questionnaire.
The matching questionnaire is a filter, not a clinical assessment. It narrows our directory according to criteria you select. It does not diagnose you, does not recommend a course of treatment, and does not constitute professional advice. The choice of therapist is yours.
Profile information is supplied by the therapist.
Before a profile becomes visible, we review the professional qualifications that the therapist declares to us, and we may ask for supporting evidence. We do not independently verify those declarations against the registers of professional bodies, and we do not confirm with any regulator that a therapist's registration is genuine or current.
We therefore cannot guarantee that a therapist:
- holds the qualifications stated on their profile;
- remains registered with any professional body;
- holds current professional indemnity insurance.
The declarations on a profile are the therapist's, not ours. If the qualifications of a particular therapist matter to you — and for most people they will — you should ask the therapist directly, and check their registration with the relevant professional body in their country before your first session. We will provide any information we hold to help you do so.
If you believe a therapist has misstated their qualifications, contact contact@wefeel.space and we will investigate.
6. Booking a session
When you book, you request a session at a stated time with a stated therapist. A booking is confirmed once you complete the booking flow and receive confirmation.
The contract for the therapy session itself is between you and the therapist. Wefeel facilitates that contract; it is not a party to it.
Sessions are conducted online unless the therapist offers in-person sessions and you agree one with them directly. Where an in-person session is arranged, it is a matter entirely between you and the therapist.
You are responsible for having a suitable internet connection, a private space, and for attending on time.
7. Payments
7.1 How payment works
Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. When you pay for a session:
- the payment is collected by Stripe and settled to the therapist's connected Stripe account;
- Wefeel retains a commission on the session fee, as consideration for use of the Platform;
- Wefeel is not the provider of the therapy service being paid for.
Session prices are set by each therapist and displayed on their profile before you book. Prices include any taxes the therapist is required to charge.
7.2 Therapist subscriptions
Therapists may also pay Wefeel a subscription fee for use of the Platform. That arrangement is between Wefeel and the therapist and does not affect the price you pay for a session.
7.3 Stripe
By paying through the Platform you also accept Stripe's terms. Wefeel does not store your full card details.
8. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
8.1 Your statutory right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU or UK you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract for services concluded at a distance.
Where you book a session that is due to take place within that 14-day period, you will be asked to expressly request that the service begins during the withdrawal period and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the session has been fully performed. If the session has not yet taken place, you may still withdraw.
8.2 Cancellation by you
| When you cancel | Outcome |
|---|---|
| 24 hours or more before the session | Full refund, no fee |
| Less than 24 hours before, or you do not attend | The session fee is payable |
A therapist may, at their discretion, waive the late-cancellation fee. We encourage therapists to do so where the reason for non-attendance relates to the very difficulty the person sought help for. Non-attendance is sometimes a symptom, not a discourtesy.
8.3 Rescheduling
You may reschedule a session once, free of charge, provided you do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Later changes are treated as a cancellation under 8.2.
8.4 Cancellation by the therapist
If a therapist cancels, you receive a full refund, regardless of when the cancellation occurs. The therapist will normally offer an alternative time. We may assist in finding another therapist, but are not obliged to.
8.5 Illness and other unforeseen circumstances
Where either party cannot attend for reasons genuinely beyond their control, we expect the parties to agree a rescheduled time or a refund in good faith.
8.6 Refund mechanics
Refunds are made to the original payment method through Stripe and may take several working days to appear.
9. Cross-border sessions
This is important. Please read it.
The Platform is open internationally. You may be able to book a session with a therapist who is based in, and licensed to practise in, a different country from the one you are in.
9.1 Where therapists are licensed
Each therapist profile states the country in which the therapist is based. A therapist's professional registration, insurance and right to practise are generally confined to that country. A therapist licensed in Ireland is not, by virtue of that licence, authorised to practise in Colombia, Brazil, or anywhere else.
9.2 What we do
- We direct our advertising and promotion of each therapist principally to the region in which that therapist is licensed.
- We advise therapists not to accept clients located outside the jurisdiction in which they are authorised to practise.
9.3 Where responsibility lies
A therapist who chooses to accept a client located outside the jurisdiction in which that therapist is licensed does so on their own responsibility. That therapist is responsible for:
- determining whether they may lawfully provide the service to that client;
- ensuring their professional indemnity insurance covers it;
- complying with the regulatory and professional requirements of the client's jurisdiction;
- any consequences arising from a failure to do so.
Wefeel provides visibility and introduction. Wefeel does not assess, and cannot assess, whether a particular therapist may lawfully treat a particular client in a particular country.
9.4 Your responsibility
Before booking a therapist based in a country other than your own, satisfy yourself that this is appropriate for you. Consider in particular that:
- your therapist may be many time zones away;
- your therapist will not be able to contact emergency services where you live, will not know your local health system, and cannot arrange urgent care for you;
- the professional standards, complaints procedures and legal protections that apply to your therapist are those of their country, not yours;
- the recourse available to you if something goes wrong may be limited.
10. Your conduct
You agree not to:
- use the Platform for anything unlawful;
- impersonate another person, or book on someone's behalf without their consent;
- harass, abuse or threaten a therapist or any other user;
- submit false information;
- attempt to circumvent Platform fees by moving payment for an introduced booking off-Platform;
- scrape, copy or reproduce Platform content, including therapist profiles, without permission;
- interfere with the security or operation of the Platform.
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of this Section.
11. Content
11.1 Our content
The Platform, its design, text, and the educational and knowledge content we publish, are owned by Wefeel or licensed to us. You may read and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not reproduce it commercially without our permission.
11.2 Therapist content
Articles and profile content written by therapists remain theirs. By publishing on the Platform they grant us a licence to display and promote that content.
11.3 Content you submit
If you submit content — for example a message through a contact form — you confirm you have the right to do so. We may use it to provide the service and to respond to you.
11.4 Educational content is not advice
Articles, webinars and other materials on the Platform are for general information. They are not a substitute for professional assessment or treatment, and should not be relied on as advice about your particular situation.
12. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with the Platform, contact contact@wefeel.space.
If your complaint concerns the conduct or competence of a therapist, tell us — but understand that we do not regulate therapists. Serious concerns should also be raised with the therapist's professional body or regulator in their country. We will provide the information we hold to assist you in doing so.
13. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that:
- We are not liable for the acts or omissions of a therapist, including the quality, safety, legality or outcome of any therapy provided.
- We provide the Platform "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability to you in connection with the Platform is limited to the total fees paid by you through the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or where we reasonably consider it necessary to protect another user, a therapist, or Wefeel.
Termination does not affect bookings already confirmed, nor any refund due to you.
15. Changes
We may amend these Terms. Where a change is material we will notify you before it takes effect — by email, or by a prominent notice on the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after that date means you accept the amended Terms. If you do not accept them, close your account.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Nothing in this Section limits that right.
17. General
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wefeel regarding the Platform.
